Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the myRekber escrow service. By signing up for, accessing or using our service, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all the terms below.
1. Definitions
- Service — the myRekber platform that provides an escrow system for online buying and selling.
- User — anyone who accesses or uses the Service, whether as a buyer, seller or visitor.
- Buyer — a User who purchases goods or services through the Service.
- Seller — a User who offers goods or services through a transaction room or store on the Service.
- Held Funds — the buyer's funds deposited into the system and not yet passed on to the seller.
- Service Fee — the fee myRekber charges for using the escrow system.
2. About the Escrow Service
myRekber acts as a neutral third party that holds the buyer's funds until the transaction is declared complete. The buyer's funds are first held by the system and only released to the seller after the buyer confirms that the goods or services were received in good condition.
myRekber is not the seller, manufacturer, distributor or owner of the goods/services being traded. We only provide a fund-holding mechanism to reduce the risk of fraud between buyers and sellers.
3. Account & Security
- Users must provide correct, accurate and up-to-date data when signing up or joining a transaction room.
- Users are fully responsible for keeping their PIN, password, OTP codes and other account credentials confidential.
- All activity carried out through a User's account is the responsibility of the account owner.
- Users must notify us immediately if there is unauthorized access or suspected account abuse.
4. Transaction Flow
In general, transactions through myRekber follow these steps:
- The seller creates a transaction room or the buyer checks out a store product.
- The buyer makes a payment, and the funds are then marked as Held by the system.
- The seller ships the goods or completes the service.
- Once satisfied, the buyer releases the funds so they become the seller's.
- The seller withdraws the funds (manual escrow) or the funds automatically enter the store balance (store products), after the Service Fee is deducted.
5. Seller Obligations
- Sell lawful goods or services that match their description and do not violate the law.
- Ship or deliver the goods/services on time as agreed with the buyer.
- Do not sell prohibited goods/services, including narcotics, illegal weapons, forged documents, stolen accounts, or content that infringes others' rights.
- Provide correct information that does not mislead the buyer.
6. Buyer Obligations
- Pay the invoice using the available payment methods.
- Check the goods/services received before releasing the funds.
- Release the funds on time once the goods/services have been received in good condition.
- Do not abuse the dispute or fund-holding features to harm a seller who has fulfilled their obligations.
7. Payments, Fees, & Withdrawals
- All payments are processed through official payment providers we work with.
- myRekber charges a Service Fee that is deducted from the funds upon withdrawal to the seller. The fee amount is shown during the transaction process.
- Withdrawals are only made to valid destinations and may take processing time according to the payment provider's policy.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers beyond our control.
8. Disputes & Refunds
If a dispute arises between the buyer and the seller, both parties are expected to first try to resolve it through communication in the transaction room. If no agreement is reached, myRekber may facilitate mediation and, on reasonable consideration, decide to pass the funds to the seller or return them to the buyer based on the available evidence. Our mediation decisions aim to keep things fair for both parties.
9. Prohibited Use
- Using the Service for money laundering, fraud or other illegal activity.
- Providing false information or impersonating another person/entity.
- Disrupting, damaging or attempting to access the Service's systems without authorization.
- Using the Service to trade goods/services prohibited by applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
myRekber provides the Service “as is”. We are not responsible for the quality, legality or authenticity of the goods/services traded between Users. Our responsibility is limited to operating the fund-holding and withdrawal mechanism in accordance with these terms.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account of any User who is proven or reasonably suspected to have violated these Terms & Conditions, committed fraud or abused the Service, with or without prior notice.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect once published on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute that arises will be settled amicably, and if that fails, through the legal channels applicable in Indonesia.
